1. Marimekko and Adidas collaborate to launch sportswear collection
The collection consists of new materials such as recycled yarns and other methods to help reduce the environmental footprint.
2. Lululemon tops anti-forced labour benchmark
Lululemon, Adidas and PVH Corp, which owns Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein, have been ranked highest in their efforts to tackle forced labour in their global supply chains. Of the largest 37 companies, the best-performing brand was Lululemon, which scored 89 out of 100 on the benchmark score.
3. Sportswear gets an ethical revamp, with wood fibre used to fashion shorts
The brand So Ride Wear, after launching eco-responsible T-shirts and sweatshirts in 2019, the French startup has now created its first pairs of shorts made from wood.
